Hi Guys ....
I am new to this forum so please redirect this post to appropriate section if necessary.
I have a 2006 120D (M47) and there is large amount of white smoke coming from exhaust (smells like oil). There is no smoke on startup, but when i drive and accelerate over 2000rpm them the smoke appears and continues until i stop.
I have serviced the vehicle (air filter, oil filter, diesel filter and new castrol oil) and i have changed the Crankcase Breather (it was fitted with Vortex, but changed it since i had a new unit).
This vehicle does mainly city traveling (my wife drives to work and i drive weekends only).
I have read some write-ups and there are many informative articles but many refer to crankcase breather and pipes that must be cleaned, but none explain where to find the breather pipes.
Do i have to clean the EGR unit ?
