Hey guy's im in the middle of researching into swapping out all my old tired shite rubber hosing with braided staineless hosing for most of the oil and cooling system with internal diameters less then 14mm. My main concern is the fuel hose that runs from the main solid pipe line that pops up near the ABS pump to the rail. Usually in place is a rubber hose which is hose clamped on with bmw's retarded clips and on the other end is a quick release push fit type. My question being would a mikalor clamp be sufficient to hold the hose to the rail ( mikalor for those who don't know are a brand of stainless steel clamps of a higher quality then the old crappy zinc plated ones and use hex nuts to tighten rather then a screw head ) My logic being that the other end is clamped on so the quick release was just a "easy mode" way of dropping the fuel line off the rail without undoing hose clamps.
If anyones done this lemme know either way if the answers are inconclusive I'll do it anyway and see what happens lol
