So i seem to fix something on my vert only for something else to go wrong!
Fitted new front pads and discs last week and noticed the caliper was quite hard to wind back, it went back on the carrier but quite tight, I had a feeling it may be seized. Finally got out on the test today and there was smoke coming from the wheel arch and a smell of burning, similar to clutch smell. but there was no judder through the steering.
I pulled over and removed the wheel, suffice to say everything was too hot to touch, there was no signs that it's anything other than the brake assembly so am I right to assume this?
So my question is what is the best calipers to replace mine with, as I will do both sides at the same time. Please bear in mind I've fitted brand new Pagid discs and Ferodo pads so not really interested in big brake kits. What calipers can I use with standard size discs?
