I have a fault with my car which I need help with please.
My car is suffering from some hesitation now and again around 1500-2000 rpm when feathering the throttle, and also has days where it will throw out soot more than others. I'm quite sure (and hope) its not the turbo because Ive replaced that a while ago and also recently checked it for play and is all OK.
So i plugged in INPA and when read is coming up as "4298 lambda probe", yet when i search the internet for this fault all i can find is people saying that the diesel doesn't have a lambda probe, that only the petrol do. Yet when I changed the turbo on the car i remember there been some sensor near the front of the exhaust because it was a sod to get to!
So can anyone tell me if this correct? and also is there is a guide as i'm not sure which cable it is that comes up into the engine bay.
Thanks for your help
