Can you see any manufacturers name and/or part numbers on it Dan?
Numbers I found on it are as follows:
After a google I couldnt find anything.
Is it on braiding, or corrugated conduit? Looks like some kind of electrical connector/sensor rather than vacuum fed.
Also just to check, is it above the turbo near the air filter and was it originally clipped to the side of the air ducting than runs from the filter to the turbo?
I'll go and try and take a look at mine in a bit for you, but I'm not planning on taking any covers off tonight.
Thanks for the replies, nutter you are 100% correct it appears to run down the to turbo but can't see much further down because the engine bay is so tight.
Does it come off that T piece? I'll go have a look in a few minutes and see if I can trace where it goes. I've not long had it back together, so not pulling it apart.
If you still can't trace it when I'm doing the turbo exhaust stud I'll have a look from underneath
Yes it does. That would be great. I just don't want to have to get the car on a ramp to plug it in. It will be interesting to find out what it actually does.
Bad news, I can't tell what it does from the top. On mine the T goes off to a module bolted on the wing, and straight through disappears down the side of the turbo. You'll have to wait until I'm underneath it.
I took a pic here:
I had a look on RealOEM and can't make much sense of it to work out what it could be
