My car is a 2008 e90 lci 318i
Wondered if any one could give some advice, i unlocked car the other day nephew to take nephew home, as I switch front passenger airbag off I noticed the puddle lights and interior lights go out, I got in started car and got halfway down road when noticed my front lights were on but light switch was in 0 position (I do not have auto lights) anyway I turned around and when I got home noticed that every light apart from glovebox, boot, main beam rear lights and brake lights are the only lights working, I checked the red car on the ramp cc-id 231 code (light system failure) and checked all relevant bulbs and fuses, all seemed good, so as I have read before that angel eye upgrades have been known to cause issues like this I replaced with original, I guess I shouldn't of believed the fault free promise when I bought them, yesterday I managed to plug inpa in and although it recognises that there is a MIL fault it just says MIL lamp fault present, I also tried to read form module with toolset 32 but couldn't connect to frm module, I checked battery to make sure toolset was working ok and it read battery ok, I tried sending short circuit reset on frm using toolset also but couldn't communicate.
I suspect frm module has just died but strange thing also that the rear parking sensors have also stopped working, heating radio and even though dash illumination isn't working all the dash is working apart from that. I have read that frm and rear parking both run off the K can so am I simply missing some fuse that I haven't found yet?
I don't have fuse layout or manual with car and am useless with electrics but money's abit tight at the minute to take it to garage so until I get some pennies together I am going to have to try and fix myself,
