    Wheel vibration and knocking noise.(FIXED)

    Hi my 323 se cab runs and drives superb apart from when turning slightly right ie overtaking on a motorway at a certain point the wheel vibrates and there is a nocking/clunking from underneath ,there is nothing loose under the car the wheel bearings are fine the wheel balance is ok yet this noise is getting worsevand spoiling a great car any suggestions please

    That's better sounds like a bottom arm bush to me mate but I'm not an expert and someone better will tell you what's wrong soon no doubt but it does sound to me like a bush problem of some sort

    If you can feel it through the steering wheel it is more likely something is up with the front. Check the track rod ends for excessive play, bottom arm ball joint and have a poke at the loli pop bush (rear circular bush with a mount that has two bolts going through it securing it to the chassis.

    Check the anti-roll bar links. Cheapest thing there is under there

    I would suspect a balljoint on one of the arms, I'm going for the inner front balljoint as they can be easily missed. Needs checking on a four post ramp.

    I had the exact same issue with a friends E36 Convertible, hence my suspicions on it being the inner ball joint, they are easily missed come MOT time or on a service. Glad to hear the car is all fixed and cheers for the update.
