Recently had my drive re-done and because it's a light shade of brick I've noticed my car's "spotting" oil all over it every time I park.
The spots are no larger than a 50p piece, and there's loads of them.
I haven't had a chance to get under it to take a look yet because of the weather, but I thought the undertray was supposed to catch these? I'm thinking it might be a leaking intercooler hose - is this exposed enough for leaks to drop to the floor and not hit the undertray?
If it does end up being the intercooler hose, should I bite the bullet and replace the entire thing or just the clip/seals (I know there are issues getting anything other than the entire £170-odd unit, but I can give it a try)? Would an oil catch can also help to avoid this?
