It's my first post here so please bear with me I've been fixing this car from a state of total and utter trash to where it is now - almost perfect! Also I tend to write everything really detailed, especially when I find a fix for a problem
So after a remap and having changed both pressure controllers (EGR and turbo), a new MAF, cleaned MAP sensor, 2 faulty injectors, all vacuum and induction hoses + o-rings in them and finally adjusting the turbo actuator rod length to the shortest possible (it was set to the longest when I bought the car from the previous neglectful owner), here's the issue:
the car never achieves its "desired" boost value in INPA (usually about 400mbar lower, though it should be overboosting), and also the air mass is lower than it should be on full throttle, by about 150mg/Hub. Very minimal smoke on full throttle at 4000rpm, nothing before that. Rod moves completely freely about 1cm when applying throttle, so it can't be sticking.
Here's an INPA recording of the desired/current screen, maxing out at 2700rpm in 3rd gear:
And this is what it should ideally be, though I'd settle for a little spool lag:
So here's the question: what are the possible causes of this underboost situation? Can a clogged air filter cause such a high loss of boost and slow spool time?
Thanks a ton in advance!
