I've got an E46 320d with an M47 engine. The car has on a couple of occasions failed to start first try but gone second or third. But sadly at Christmas it finally failed completely.
I've plugged in my diagnostic and it has given two errors, one being fuel pressure regulator and the 2nd stating insufficient fuel rail pressure at ignition. I looked at the live data screen and it showed 61 bar rail pressure on crank, admittedly the battery was down a bit when I scanned it, but when the initial failure occurred the car had only been sat a couple of hours.
Does anyone on the site have access to manufacturers expected values so I can compare them to actual data found please ?
Has anyone had a similar problem? if so what was the fault/ fix.
