    335D suspension squeak/tweet

My E92 335D is coming up to 110k miles and recently had all four shocks replaced, however I've noticed when going over one of those less-gentle speed humps the rear suspension gives a short, sharp, quick "tweet" sound as the shocks expand again after being compressed.

The sound's very difficult to describe, and a high pitched "tweet" is the best I can manage!

Could anyone hazard a guess as to what this might be with a view to a DIY diagnosis and fix?

Heard of similar on the older E46s, turned out to be the upper rubber pad & a quick spray of silicone cured it?

Great, thanks. I know the pad you mean - is it accessible without taking the suspension off though? How do you get access?
