    upcoming service due questions

    Dont pretend to be a mechanic and never serviced my own car ever but this time im gonna give it a go to save money so if people can recommend sites and part nos etc to help

    I need engine oil and is it 10w40 fully synthetic

    Plugs

    Oil/fuel filter

    The cars done 118 000 miles and gets driven hard and does at least 1000 miles a month worktravelling

    Any help i would be very grateful

    Oil. BMW LL98 or equivalent.(All newer oils are backwards compatible so LL01 and LL04 will work fine)
    5w40 or 10w40.

    Plugs.
    BOSCH F7 LDCR
    NGK BKR6EK

    Oil filter.
    Euros or GSF or the Main dealer. Many choices. (Mahle, Mann, or Hengst brand)

    sonny ronnie would it be around 7 ltrs i need for mine engine oil wise from memory full drained as i always leave mine at the garages and go for a pint usually

    You will need 6.5 litres for a 6pot mate.

    I wouldn't fit Bosch plugs in my lawnmower - NGK all the way!

    Yeah 7 litres will cover it fine, That's oil, not beer,

    (6.5 litres generally)

    Halfords are doing a deal on 10/40 own brand oil so is it suitable or go slightly better
