Newbie to this site, im hoping for some guidance if possible.
I bought a 320d tourer on an X reg last year, for a song (£600) as every panel on the car had been keyed, I love this car, and have spent a fair bit on her already, Ive finally got round to prepping all panels ready for me to wrap her in 3M boston Green metallic flake vinyl, but, before i commit to this....im wondering if i would be, as the saying goes ' wrapping a turd in diamonds'....because i need the following done....
Lower wishbones & bushes (might aswell be Poly type)
Rear brake pipes need replacing
Vacum pipe from turbo
OSF window regualtor
Rear high brake light
Rear wiper motor
New number plates (as im driving around on show plates - i never noticed)
All speed sensors
ABS sensors (they have been cut off for some reason)
Brake pad wear sensors
new exhaust (decat to free stress on turbo)
Im no mechanic, nor boy racer, and ask if most of these could be done by myself, or if anyone in the Maidstone/Snodland area on here has some time free to help me source the parts and help me fit, im willing to pay cash for your time, i just cant afford what a garage would charge, and having someone show me would give me more confidence in taking on future works, as i really dont want to scrap her, i know im asking alot, but, as the saying goes ' the hinge that squeaks, get the grease'.
Thanks in advance
