    Leaking Passenger Footwell

    Hey Guys,

I have my Uncle's E46 318i for a bit. He's having some issues with his motor

    1) Passage Footwell has got loads of water in it.
    2) The passage window is taking ages to go up.
    3) On INPA What engine do I use?

He mention to me when it snowed loads he had some issues with the passage window going up so he pulled it manually. I've got a feeling the window regualor needs replacing but am unsure what the issue is with the passage footwell. I've checked this pollen filter holes and they all look clean. Only other thing I think it might be is the windscreen but I can't see any cracks or spilts the seals.. Could you give me some pointers please.

    Thanks
    Bhav

I have recently had a leak in the passenger side footwell in my E36, after much looking it was coming by the front passenger door seal at the lower corner closest to the foot well. So maybe have a search there, also check to make sure the heater matrix isn't gone.

    Hope this helps.

If the door card has been removed to perform any window work then that would be the first place I'd look, can be common for leaks around there.

I've got a feeling it got something to do with the passage side door.

Before I pull the card off I'll try this video

Found a handy DIY Video on how to tackle the door card and fix the Vapour Barrier

Whilst am there am going to replace the Regulator.
