    2003 318i e46 - coolant light

    Hi guys,

    Stumped here...

My coolant light comes on randomly. Coolant level is fine.

Replaced the sensor but hasnt made any difference... any ideas what else it could be?

    Cheers fellas!

Check the wiring, especially around the plug and where it runs near the expansion tank and the body.

Also did you replace it with a genuine item? Still could be a faulty sensor as well.

Will inspect the wiring a little closer first I think.

    Genuine part.
