Steering rack ends and quick racks

Well, result of accident the car needs a steering rack.

the arm of steering rack that goes to the hub is bent, can you change this part of the steering rack or is it one whole assembly?

Is there any quick rack options for an E36? m3 one?

Oh, and the track rods are in two pieces (missed that bit of the post)

This shows both parts, although I'd buy from ECP/GSF/main dealer to be sure of a decent quality part.

Pull the boot back on the arm - they unscrew..... Inner track rod end mate....

M3 rack is better, Z3 rack is best.....

It's literally the cost of the rack and some power steering fluid, depends if you can pick a good cheap rack up or not though. They start at about 250 on ebay

You need to have a read of Steve's M3 saloon thread mate, he changed the rack on his to make it quicker and sourced the part from an E46? Cheaper and the same ratio ('ish) as a Z3 rack....
