Cool Just had my rolling road done...results are in

Dynodaze have a charity event today, so i thought i would pop up.

The gave my car a run, and the bloke said its the about on of the highest E36 328 they have dyno'd - most making 194-199bhp with hardly any breaking 200bhp.

    2012-08-05 12.17.28 by JamesStillE36, on Flickr

Got a couple of runs in and i was hoping for more power, but not too bad with 147K on the clock.

    Standard power is 190bhp@5300 rpm
    Torque is 280nm @3950 rpm

My car has a M50 Manifold, remap and exhaust.

    It made

    207.4bhp @6186 rpm
    261nm @4552 rpm

the torque is a little down, i guess this is due to M50?

Here is a pic of the graph.

I mentioned us coming the 8th, and said it would be fine.

Yeah I heard that the M50 Mani gives the Torque a bashing... Maybe mapping it further will help boost it?? (Not clued up on it - All I know its made up of 11111000011010110110110111101101)

EDIT* What fuel did you have in the tank?

    petrol

just normal BP fuel, full tank may i add

i will go up again and get some runs done on my standard map, and then hopefully tweak this map a little using an AFR gauge.

i am hoping to break the 210 mark, but i guess with the age of car and mileage what im getting so far isnt bad.

Do you think using Super (V-Power or Ultimate) would make a differance if you use it for a whole month then dyno it?

    Well done mate!

Is that not down on what it should be? With M50 manifold and remap I would expect 225bhp plus at least.

Mine made 217bhp - 274nm, with a blowing exhaust and split intake boot. Mods were M50 manifold, decat, air con removed, viscous removed. With a remap I would expect 230bhp.
