    BMW E46 ride quality

Wondering if you guys could give me advise on wheels and tyres

Recently I've been using my winter whilst my summers get a refurb. I feel the ride quality much better then the original mv1 18" and hold the road a lot much better.

Am looking to go from 18" to 16" because of the rid quality.

    Now my winters are BMW style 32 16" with 205 55 16.

Can you recommend me a nice looking 16" alloy that would suit a e46?

I would that look but won't like the ride quality. That's the thing. With 16" it drives a dream. No tramlining.

Sometimes the world is still flat, especially if you can't see as far as the horizon

Tram lining is more to do with width and offset than wheel rim size.

Your car rides better on 16 probably purely because the increased sidewall height means it is a better cusion.

Only looks good because it's slammed I'm afraid Bhav

If you've got your heart set on 16s I'd go for OEM style wheel and maybe get them finished in a style to suit your taste

17s tho Bhav and these wheels look best when the car is lower (IMO) go searching for 16" OEM wheels for the e46 and see what takes your fancy....
