    2000 E46 330i with 330d shifter?

Hi guys, does anyone know if the 330d shifter will fit my 5 speed 330i? I want to reduce the throw and I know the 330d shifter is often used as a short shift kit on M3's.

    Cheers.

I've been doing a bit of research and found that E90 shift levers will also work?

I'm a bit confused as there seems to be so many different options and opinions and there's no clear answer as to which will definitely work and what parts are needed.

If I went for the 330d shift lever will i need any other parts or is it worth replacing any other parts whilst it's out?

Thanks for your help it's very much appreciated!

Well I decided to go with the E60 short shift lever as I managed to find a decent write up.

Went to order one from BMW and they are on back order and not available until early October. Doh!
