    Front Bumper, Slider Bracket

    Hi all,

    I had a non-sport front bumper on my 328i.
So I finally found a M3 Front and Rear bumper in Boston Green, but when I went to fit it I noticed the side that has a "slider bracket" was missing on the drivers side on the M3 bumper.

Is this part of the bumper itself, or can it be put on? As I looked at the standard bumper I took off, it has tabs that look plastic welded or something?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Wanda, thanks for that, but are they not for rear bumpers?

    I found the following pic, it's #11 I think I need?

    Which has part number: 51118122576

Can anyone confirm, and how is it joined to the bumper, so I can remove it off my old bumper, and transfer to the M3 bumper?

    Thanks in advance

You will need that part.take it off and replace by using silicon to hold it on and then fit.

Must admit ive not known one missing though

Thanks Spirit, yeah it is very odd, I have found one on ebay for really cheap (the bracket) so will get that and TigerSeal it on, seems like the best bet (instead of potentially breaking the one on mine).

    Thanks for replies people

i was lucky mine were bolted in so i just unbolted eveything and transfered it over to my new bumpers.
you could prise them off carefully and tiger seal it or bolt it on for extra support.
