    Retrofitting power fold mirrors?

I've been offered a swap of a pair of OEM powerfold mirrors + switch from a facelift convertible for my ACS mirrors..

Question is will they just bolt on/plug in and work? Baring in mind he's giving me his switch aswell as the power fold mirrors

I've tried looking online and found conflicting info...

I'm guessing you have electric seats?

Should be good to go but may need a new memory module for the fold option. Will check later.

Saying that, I just read that thread Johann posted again and it specifies the following:

"If your car already has power and memory seats then already it also has these control modules in the doors and you do not need to buy them or replace them when upgrading to power folding memory mirrors."

So... As my car only has memory option on drivers side, will only drivers side have correct memory module? Or is there only one module per car?

"Theese mirrors simply connect to the car via control modules also called memory modules. Both manual folding and power folding memory mirrors use the same control "memory" module that sits inside each door under each side mirror. These in-door control modules are what provide the mirrors with memory, tilt and power-fold commands. "
May be easier just to open up and check?

No. That shouldn't matter. Check that you actually have two modules, one in each door.
