    Car doesn't seem very torque-y

I'm not sure if it's just my but my car doesn't seem to pull away very hard, my last car was a V6 vectra and it pulled like a train, is it just because I've went from a 2.5 V6, to a 320i? Or could there be something causing it to hold back a bit?

Also the accelerator pedal doesn't feel smooth, it feels kinda notchy when you press it,

As always any help would be appreciated

The 320 isn't a very quick car and the Vectra will have been a fair bit quicker with more power on tap. If you think there is something up with it, your first port of call is to get it plugged in to see if there are any fault codes. The notchy pedal will be the trottle cable that will have dried out inside the plastic insulation. They aren't expensive or difficult to replace.

"Stance" (n): Term used to describe a car so low to the ground it scrapes, very easy to accomplish requiring no imagination or skill

My M50 320i isn't that quick either. Unless it's already been done, the Vanos will be pretty worn and so you will really lack torque low down. Mine doesn't pull below about 2k and only really gets going above 3k rpm. If you downshift to around 3.5k and boot it it should really pull hard. If not then you may have another issue and it's best to get it plugged in somewhere.
