deep breath when accelerating - hesitating (video added)

    Hiya

not sure how well I have explained this but when I put foot down the engine tone goes slightly deeper, then car seems to take a deep brath (no idea how better to explain it lol) and then a few seconds delay and it's off.....

Dont remember that it used to do it but maybe I have just got used to the acceleration now so notice the quirks more?

    Cheers

Have you tried unplugging the maf to see if this cures it? Also check all your hoses for any air leaks

just had a thought...i pulled out the air filter a few months back and gave it a spruce. I didn't take the whole box off, just enough to slide out filter. If it wasn't put back perfectly in position could this cause the problem?

Literally only just remembered that I was supposed to remember to make sure it was sitting right ages ago lol

I also think I read somewhere last year that doing it the lazy way can also cause the box to pull away from whatever it connects to....does that sound familiar or am I back to talking rubbish alrready? :--)
