Hi guys, longtime no chat!
Well someone warned me (although I think after I'd fitted them) & now I'm having to pay again as result.
Fitted 'cheap', but what I thought was ok quality Delphi front wishbones & their rear bushes about 1 1/2 yrs ago/28k miles, I've already had to replace the OS arm (luckily I got a replacement FOC from CAFs, I think possibly only because our garage is a regular customer of theirs), the 'old' 1 the outter balljoint would creak over ~25C & the inner 1 would occasionally knock on pulling away. Just prior to changing that arm I thought at least the bushes would be ok, wrong! weak already grrr. And it's tramling moderately bad again.
So I'm looking at getting myle solid rear bushes for both the wishbones, the question is, do the solid rubber bushes transmit much more road noise & vibration that the std oil filled ones? or are they only slightly noiser?
TIA![]()
