I give in, how do you remove the gear knob?

    As above, I'm stumped lol

I've got a rather fetching wooden gear knob atm that matches nothing else in the car! God knows who put it there but I've just bought a new leather one and I can't get the wooden one off, can anybody help?

    I don't want to break it :(

    As always thanks in advance

Be confident, grip firmly and pull up. My Range Rover knob was just as bad but you won't pull any of the cogs out!

A tenner says he comes back and says he's twatted himself in the face when it finally came off

    It might be glued in...

One tip is to sit in the passenger seat and put it in 2nd and pull up... Thats if it is a OEM BMW knob
