    Auto window closure ?

    Hi Guys,

I'm after some info on how to get my windows to auto close on locking the car ?

Getting really fed up with the missus leaving the windows down when she uses the car !!!

    Thanks Rob.

    Hold the lock button down.

I've looked into how to get them to auto close with just a single press of the lock button, and as far as I know, you can't do it like that - You have to hold it

Yeah i know about the hold button down but try telling the wife to do that !!!

I've had auto window closure on older cars and would have thought it would be an option on the E46 ?

Just gonna have to keep shouting at the wife for the time being

I've had it on one of my E36's with an aftermarket alarm, it would auto close with a single click of the button.

But the E46, i've found no way of doing it with standard alarm - I've been through all the options of SSS and there's no option there to do it.

Gonna remove the window fuse when she uses the car, failing that she can go and buy her own bleedin beamer

Speak with Jason Balbier @ BWChiptune (07831 103 030). I'd better a tenner he could program it onto your key.

If this is possible, he must use NCS ? If it is, then it's something I wouldn't touch with a bargepole, I'd break something

You're speaking a different language. I have no idea what he uses but he's told me he is very good at doing these kind of things and I believe him. He advised me that he was the first person to program the remote convertible fold/unfold from the key.

I know for sure he can do mirrors and the roof so don't see why he can't do something like windows.

My E46 has this, if you hold the lock button down it will close the windows. No idea if it was an option though!
I want to go out quietly in my sleep like my grandfather, and not screaming and crying like his passengers

Ya, mine too. But OP wants it with one click of his alarm. Doesn't want to have I hold down the button
