Advice on MOT advisory please (325 ci Coupe 2005)

I had the following advisory note after MOT pass in August; 3k miles done since.

001 Nearside front (rear) suspension arm rubber mounting deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement [2.4.G.2]

I've Googled, but the answers were variable and vaguer than those I have received from members here.

    A few questions, please:

What does the advisory note mean in simple language?
How should this (and further deterioration or failure) affect driving, e.g. would it cause tyre wear, handling or ride problems?
How much (approximately) does replacement cost?

    Thanks

Wishbone bush...do you know if it is leaking oil? Advisory means you need to get it sorted out soon, and if it gets worse, then you will feel a 'woolly' effect on the steering.

Thanks, Neal. I have no sign of any oil leakage.

Best to have them both done at the same time

    Neal,
Excuse my ignorance, but when you say "both," which other bush should I get done?

They are part of the control arm or wishbone and you have one either side front end of the car. Also known as lollipop bushes.

Recommend you opt for MeyleHD or Lemforder brand, cheaper parts will likely fail in under 2yrs
