E46 325 ci coupe 2005 (55) DSC Light coming on

I've had car since 09/2011 and therefore driven all year round.

Over last few months DSC light has come on more often. I let this pass.

And then, hence this post, approximately 8 times this morning in a 26 mile round trip, a an b roads and always under hard acceleration, normally in 2nd gear sometimes third; car is manual gearbox.

Only new variable on car in last week are new bushes (thursday) and then winter tyres, fitted Friday.

Grip/traction is excellent, car drives fine, no problems, but this light.

Owner's Manual only raises a concern if it comes on permanently.

    Any advice, possible problems?
    Thanks

    Just your tyres losing grip.

If both TC and DSC lights come on permanently then you have an issue.

New bushes mean there's less 'slop' when you put your foot down, so the power's getting to the tyres better, and new tyres take a while to grip properly as you scrub the outer 'coating' off them. It's probably nothing to worry about.

For benefit of others with similar problem. I have 4 wheel alignment done at a cost of 50 plus VAT and in the week since no problems.
