Hi all
Had the faults read and it was the front near side ABS sensor, just replaced it and the lights are still on?

have you reset it with suitable software like INPA?
No I havent reset it, is that what I have to do?
I read somewhere that once the fault had been recterfied they would clear themselves, is that not the case then no?

Some times it will clear itself and sometimes not, best to get it plugged in again mate and then you know where you are
Did you use a genuine sensor?
Ok, il go get it plugged in an cleared again an see if that sorts it.
Yeah, used a genuine sensor as I read il be changing it again in a couple of weeks!
As its a sunday, is there no battery disconnect resett I can do or anything?
Ok, tried disconnecting tge battery for an hour yesterday an that didnt work.
So i went to my mates garage an he plugged in some snap on machine, few codes came up but they have all cleared apart from the same front left sensor, even though its brand new?
Anyone know where the wires go back to as this has only been a fault since we beat the death out of the lower arm rear bush to get it off? Changed the bushes and the trio of lights were on? Is the abs unit right above the front left lower arm? Is there a chance something has come loose?
Thanks in advance
ide say yav fucked the wiring or the new sensor is duff or ya might of goosed the reluctor ring on the wheel bearing, some bearings its just shrink fitted on and a rather flimsy affair...
use INPA software ya can see wether its registering any road speed at all or its just goosed altogether...
Honestly cant see how iv damaged either the wiring or the reluctor ring? Has to be a shit sensor surely, it cost £50 though?
