HELP !! Secondary air pump (SAP) problems

Hi, I have a BMW E46 from 03/1999, i just bought it last month, and the secondary air pump was broken, so did the secondary air pump valve was stuck, and was open all the time. I replaced the secondary air pump (SAP) and the secondary air pump valve, the valve opens for 90 seconds when i start the engine(cold start) but the secondary air pump(sAP) does not start, I checked the voltage on the SAP connector and it was 0.4 volts instead of 12V.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Thanks

Running for about 90 seconds seems normal to me

Just to be sure, why don't you get the fault codes checked. That should put your mind at ease.

You can just bin the whole set up. By the blanking plate for bmw for about a 5, join a vacuum pipe and be done with it.

BMW do the blanking plates, they sit above the exhaust manifold, you will need a new gasket too.
    JUst check real oem.
