Where do you think it's coming in??
Door sill? Or under the glove box?

Is there any water in the scuttle? I can't remember the name for the box on the passengers side for the life of me - but if the drains are blocked in the scuttle the water will get into the footwell from that area or around the pollen filter....

Failing that, another point of entry is the membrane panels behind the door cards coming away from the door...

    Water leak ??

Just a up date, no water or dampness in and around the pollen filter, or engine bay, water drops on the front passenger door rubber, the wet patch seems to be bigger then in the photo, I can feel damp underneath the front seat,
Could it be the door rubbers?

    Thanks,

My money would be on the membrane behind the door card having come away from the inner panel - I would remove the door card and seal it back on.

Unless you have a car that has had an accident, therefore having gap discpreincies, I would say you have "A Hole!" that is where it should not be!! OR! a Hole that is blocked! as previously described.

OR!! you have an internal leak which would be apparent by having to add water to the cooling system

    Check this link out mate!

    http://www.bmwforums.info/general-bm...Afixed%2A.html

Take your door panels off and you will see a foam backing, on mine the foam backing had come away! i resealed it with some gutter/drain pipe sealant from the D.I.Y store...

    Water leak ??

Door panel off, inside door all dry, but some of the foam had come away, fixed that, engine bay all dry, carpet seemed dryer, so not sure about holes in the floor or water getting in as the car was used the day before when we had a day of rain,

    Thanks
