Hoping someone can point me in the right direction for this. I have Inpa and if there's any tests I could do with it that would be helpful let me know.
So the main problem: car vibrates like a washing machine at idle, idle rpm is about 750. Raise the Rpm to approx 1000 and the vibration is gone...
Only faults the car has is glow plugs 1-3 and electric auxiliary heater.
Recently had a cracked flexi which didn't help matters, have had new catalytic converter and flexi fitted to the front of the exhaust, (cost £120 delivered from RSJ motor factors). There were exhaust fumes all around the engine bay as a result which lead to bad MAF sensor readings and a loss of power. After new front cat was fitted cleaned MAF and MAP and replaced all vacuum pipes and air filter and power is great now with no flat spots or lag.
Old air filter due to exhaust soot from cracked flexi:
Example of old vs new vacuum pipes:
Also cleaned the Egr:
Hoping someone knows what is causing this vibration right through the car, doesn't make a difference of the car is in drive/neutral/park/reverse.
Anything else I've left out let me know
Looking forward to any suggestions
Thanks in advance
