Steering feels seriously weird on the car, feels like their is resistance when turning in either direction and it seems to get slightly stiffer the more towards full lock you get! When throwing it into a corner it doesn't feel right at all, almost as is if its trying to get you to turn in the opposite direction!
When driving on a straight road it feels like its constantly hunting and the slightest quick movement feels very dramatic, not like it use to, all smooth! It feels like its trying to pull to the curb as well, so when you turn away from the curb it kind of dramatically pulls you to the other side???
Iv fitted HSD coilovers and managed to get the drop link mounts in a good position and managed to get everything tight so nothing is turning, graunching out or coming undone!
Its got an M3 arb with poly bushes and suitable length drop links fitted, and when i decided to give up with adjustable drop links i went for Mazda 323 fixed length drop links, and when i fitted them everything felt good for about 3 days, then all of a sudden this resistance feeling started happening?
Its been 4 wheel tracked and there were no problems doing that but it hasn't made a difference to this resistance feeling, but before it was tracked it was being driven for quite a while with bad toe an camber an the tyres are slightly more worn on the outer edge than the inside, but i cant imagine it would make it feel this different now its correct and don't make sense that it was all alright for a couple of days before feeling weird?
The tyres are directional and i know they like to hunt a little bit, but not to this extent!
Lolli pop bushes have been changed in october last year and they do seem to have a bit of play in them, can this affect steering and the symptoms I'm getting?
I use to be able to sit there an roll the steering wheel round on the palm of my hand from lock to lock but this is slightly harder now an defiantly not as smooth as it use to be!!!
Thanks in advance
