During last winter I mounted in a factory reconditioned steering gear box, and replaced the steering pump and the brake booster / cylinder. And the brakes and steering worked as they should. But when I started to use the car in the spring, there was a problem.
When I start using the car in the morning, so will the steering works properly, but after having driven a bit, the steering becomes harder. After having parked the car, and then using it the next day, the steering works properly at the start, but after some driving, it is hard again.
Have switched back to the old servo pump, which was installed in earlier and put in the old steering gear box, but with the same result.
Use still the old steering gear box, after I sent back the new I bought to the seller, due some slack in the center. So some days ago I resive a new one. But will not install this until I find out the problem with why the steering is so hard.
Could it be the brake bomb, even if the brakes are working properly. Or something with the two sensors that sit at the bomb.
Appreciated input on the issue. thanks.
