I have got 525d 2007 65000mi on it. It seems it is generating high soot so needs quite frequent regenerating of dpf.
I am monitoring it using BMWhat. Car also hesitate bit while putting it on sudden acceleration required at roundabouts.
Soot level rises to 40 gram from 2.5 gram using BMWhat after using it for 60mi motorway and city drive. I personally feel car is generating high soot which get deposited in dpf and then needs regen.
Today I checked duty cycle of EGR control at out put was 58% at idle and was going up and down on driving it. Is EGR at fault giving me trouble or something else?
