Sorry, unsure if I am in the wrong section here?
The car is a bmw 520d with 140í00 miles on the clock. Iíve had it for almost 2000 miles.
The problems experienced are a big loss of power when accelerating, i found that more in gears 3 and above. I thought maybe slightly worse when engine is warm, maybe?
So far, the work done is, the swirl slaps have been blanked, the vortex style filter was fitted. I stupidly changed the MAP sensor because someone suggested that. Its been serviced also. Then i had a carbon clean and the problem seemed to disappear for a while, i wasnít sure if this was because the carbon clean may have cleaned the Lambda 02 sensor possibly? After the carbon clean guys done it, they said the only fault at that point was 447b Ė lambda sensor
Today i forced a regen with a diagnostic machine. The faults that were mainly coming up were all dpf type issues?
Sorry for blabbering on so long!
Also wondering if terraclean would help?
thanks in advance
