    525d Tuning options

can the 3.0L engine in a 2010 F10 525d be safely re-tuned for improved performance and fuel economy or dose this risk over stressing the engine and components, turbo etc.

Basically the engines are the same as you know, only different tuning/performance, getting the 2.5d mapped will improve your MPG, "SLIGHTLY" and should not cause any issues with the gear box or rear diff or the Turbo. It just means your going to get there a little quicker, if its an auto then the gear box's are all the same, I would advise in getting the gear box software updated to coincide with the map, it will work a lot better, quicker and smother gear changes. You wont be disappointed.

Can you please suggest somewhere that does both the engine and gearbox remap? What BHP level do you suggest going to?
