    No throttle/power/cutting out *INPA Results In*

    Alright guys I could do with help on this one as I could do with the car! Its a manual 523. Well got in today to go to the gym went down the road to the shop was fine bit it a bit jumpy. So I thought this is new feels like a air leak anyway got to shop and when I got back turned car on and drove away, it was very unsettled and didn't really want to go but did albeit slowly! anyway managed to get it into a car park and it cut out while entering so I started it and got it into a space and now it will start sit at normal revs sometimes but put the foot down and it just conks out and won't move at all...

    Could it be the lambda centre? As I have had the diagnostics done and that popped up but that was a few weeks ago

    Bad sensor won't cause it to run as you describe.

    To me, it sounds like as you've already suggested - An air leak. Start with the MAF to throttle body pipe as thats the favourite to go.

    Cheers ferret although I have unpluGged my maf and still won't go? Shouldn't this cancel out an air leek? AlSo what are the chances of a blocked fuel filter?vit wouldn't happen so sudden would it?

    I went To collect the car earlier n started fine but again after a min of fiddling it started again when it got to about quarter temp (or half of the running temp) even on tow it wouldn't bump stars and run either

    Get Lee to plug it up to diagnostics, and see what the ECU is saying
    Just remember though, that you've unplugged the MAF - So if that was the issue and a fault was stored for it, you won't know that anymore.
