Is there a diference between M-Sport and Sport front suspension on an E61

I bought a couple of complete front struts, disks, calipers and hub assembly from a friend today to get the upgraded brakes calipers (310mm to 324mm) and change one of the shocks until I have enough cash to buy a new pair.

The donor car was a 530d M-Sport but the shock part number is showing for the sports suspension upgrade, whilst they have different part numbers, is there any difference between M-Sport suspension springs and shocks and optional Sports suspension springs and shocks

    Cheers

    Matt

Well I fitted the sports suspension strut from the donor car and it would appear there is little or no difference! It drives the same, also did a bit of research on the springs and it seems they are a complete minefield... they even have different springs for manual and auto cars (autos have a brown dot to first the three dots, manuals have a grey dot)
