Changing ambers to clear on E39

Need some help with this one! I usually swap the old ambers over for clears on my bmw's, but the headlights and front corners all seem to be one piece, is it possible to just remove the front cover and swap just the front corners, or do i have to replace the full unit? Thanks in advance

    Hi Martin

Depending on the year, it is possible to replace the front lens only. Take a look at shmeidmann.com and you will see you buy the front lens only - still not cheap though. There is an issue with 2002/2003 cars needing to be baked to seperate them though, so do your research. Unfortunately used headlamps are like rocking horse sheeeeite so are very expensive also. Hope that helps
