I have a 2004 525 that is failing to start when cold. The engine turns over but does not fire up. When scanned, no fault codes are showing. If I turn over the ignition for a prolonged period (approx. 3 mins.) the car may fire up. When the engine does start it runs as normal. The local garage has changed the fuel pump, timing chain and crank sensor on separate occasions. This initially resolved the problem but within a couple of days the problem reoccurs. I collected the car on Monday and it started fine until yesterday. Now the car won't start. The problem appears to have started when since we have had the cold weather.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
