I've spent most of this week looking for Clubsport spoilers for the E46, as I'm seriously tempted to "Clubsportify" Immo. - The verdict has come back: PRICEY! About £450 for a new OEM one, plus painting....
I'm thinking the front splitters and the rear spoiler (my GOD I love that Clubsport spoiler!!!) will really set her off, with some of the chrome dash rings inside too....
Am i right in thinking they didn't do Imola red Clubsport E46's? - I've had a good old look and haven't seen any... thinking that doing so would make Immo kinda unique is just making me want to do it more!!
A 3.0l diesel saloon, clubsport lookalike in Imola red - gotta be rare and I bet it would look hella sexy!
Anyways - i figure the double sided tape method wouldn't work for a clubsport spoiler as it's on "legs"... Would I have to screw it on from inside the bootlid? - What kind of undertaking is that gonna be, ranging from easy peasy to utter ballache?
Also those sexy little front splitters - are they gonna reduce the bumper clearance much? Really don't want to be catching them!! I don't think they would drop it too much as they just cover the part that's already there right? It'll be like a couple of mm lower right?
This is all kind of hypothetical for now, as first i need to sort her rusty wings out, but it's slowly but surely becomming my long term aim... Next time i come into some spare money I'm totally buying a clubsport spoiler!!!
What do you reckon? Would it be naff, like an M3 badge on a diesel, or would it look the business?
(just to be clear - I'm planning on no badge addittions! lol. Might even pull the 330d badge off, but not sure, kind of like the way people know it's a big ol' oil burner as it pulls by them! lol)
I know once I've done it I'm gonna want new wheels too (MV2's right now), but also are there any other differences, styling wise, on the Clubsport??
