I have 7 pin connectors and my lights are 7 pin but the pins are in the wrong places I presume, both the links posted are for converting to check control, I want to convert from check control to non,
Can anyone post a pic of the diagram in the other link as I can't see it :(

Thank you both for your help

Obvious really but as both articles are about converting to check control and if I remember correctly is's cutting a track and soldering a pin on you wold do the reverse so wold bridge tracks and either take a pin out or leave it if there is no wire in that hole on the socket. Basically you reverse the process. if you can't figure it out best not to start

I can figure it out I just want it done rite the first time so that quoat is irrelevant rely . I'd rather double check then take the lights apart once then take them apart a milion times.
From the diGram spirit uploaded its very simple and won't take very long at all.
    Thanks for your help though

If you are going to use a soldering iron to solder a piece of wire across a handy hint is to "tin" the tracks. Now with aluminium it is tricky due to the patina so people tend to sand the track till shiny then get plenty of solder on the soldering iron and use the iron to scratch through the puddle of solder onto the track below, that way it stick to clean unoxidized aluminium. Once both sides are tinned you cans sweat piece of wire to the tinned pads.
