    330ci clubsport rims

My wheels are peeling, and seem to be beyond repair because the screws are snapping when you try to remove them. Any ideas one what wheels to replace them with? I have been looking on http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/ and I'm thinking about going for the CS style, motorsport style, or silverados... they will give me 250 for my old wheels so it will be quite cheap... I just dont want to ruin the style of the car, but i wouldnt mind going for the wide look.

I was also considering E90 wheels, such as the 342s.

Have you had a quote for a refurb of your original wheels? I have had the sets on my E91 and Compact refurbished and they were much cheaper than a replacement set of wheels....

ive had a quote for 400quid, but one of the screws is already snapped which indicates that it has been attempted before. it also means they have to drills the hole out and re thread it, and potentially this could happen on more of the screws, at 30 quid per screw. I think it sounds like a dogs breakfast.

Unless you really love the style of wheels I wouldn't waste money on a refurb. There's loads of cheap wheels on eBay if you don't mind second hand?

250 for your old wheels seems decent but suppose it depends how much you have to pay for the wheels...is it way OTT?

Thats the prob with split rims . Mine could do with a refurb and was quoted not shy of 400 for em to be split treated and powder coated. I do like the style of the wheels though so will prob get them done when i can free up enough reddies. 400 will get you a decent set of 2nd hand OEM rims or a set of reps, I had a bad experience with a set of reps so i tend to want to stear clear of them but loads of people use em without problems

    330ci clubsport rims

Just sold them to another cs owner

Csls are a very popular choice. Check pistonheads and eBay If you want second hand

There's lots of deals to be had....

    330ci clubsport rims

Just after I sold my Clubsport there was one in a local garage which I couldn't resist a poke around. It had dark grey Clubsport rims, but the owner had obviously faced a similar dilemma to you. Instead of coughing up, they'd just coated/sprayed the entire rim (bolts and all)

Looked tacky and could only be a matter of time before they looked worse than they did to start with...
