removing front wheel arch liners e46

    Hi,

I was hoping to treat my front arches with waxoil this weekend, but was unable to get the liners off. They seem to be attached under the skidpan, so you have to literally the whole metal skidpan?

Basically I decided that it was so well attached that it was probably not worth risking damaging and left it.

Is it worth waxoiling a 2003 or will it be sufficiently resistant as it is?

Thanks in advance for your help.

the instructions on there are for the rears. I have a feeling that BMW didnt intend on the front liners being removed. It really looks like a big job to get them off. Unless my car was a later model that had better liners on it?

so far so good, my only real complaint is that the injectors are a bit noisy at idle(PRINS silverline). Other than that, performance is identical to about 4000RPM, above that it is better to switch to petrol, to get maximum performance. however, with most driving i am below 3000RPM.

About the arch liners, mine are not the same as that. Mine are held in by rubber gromets on the back edge of the wing, which I think need to be prised off, not happy about that, and the liners are attached under the skidpan. If you say it is easy to remove then they must not be the same as mine. Not sure what I will do but I'm thinking of just leaving them as they are.

Sounds like the fixings you are supposed to push the middles through to release them to me.

My kit it rated to 350BHP on single outlet, more if you add another outlet and have no difference to the red line. What parts are you running?
