My newly purchased car has really dirty leather seats. The colour is light grey. I have a few things i like to tackle but the first phase is i want to get them clean. Then do the detailing (bolster on drivers side need some leather dye to make it back to original colout etc.
I wanted to know can i use a steam cleaner to take/clean the dirt out? this is my method:
1. use a nail brush to agitate the dirt/loose it from the small grain leather
2. Not sure to use a leather cleaner at this step or not [i have gliptone liquid leather cleaner]
3. steam clean using less pressure just lightly
4. wipe excess water
5. [if not used in 2] use gliptone liquid leather
6. Gliptone conditioner
i am a newbie to this so i apologies if i am a bit raw on this.
