I spent about an hour this morning using AG Tar Remover and a MF sponge trying to remove the road from the lower 1/3 of my car
There's a 1/2 mile stretch of road that they're gradually resurfacing which is almost impossible not to use if you're driving to my house. They're doing that thing where they put bitumen down, then loads of gravel and wait a week for cars to flatten it all off before hoovering and white lining it. I digress...
I really don't like the amount of pressure I have to apply to get the larger chunks off - even after letting it soak for a while. What's the best product to use for this? How about this: AB Just The Tonic? How do you apply/remove it?
Also, I doubt it's possible but is there a product to do this which won't remove my wax? I guess not since wax and tar are effectively the same thing, but what I'm most pissed about is not the time I spent this morning removing the tar, but the fact that I've stripped every layer of Collinite I've worked so hard to put on
Sorry for the long post... a bit pissed off though
