It's been one year since I got my 330ci professionally detailed by Jim @ whitedetails.co.uk
After a garage inflicted major swirls after ONE wash, it was in desperate need of a freshen up. I thought I'd have a go using a dual action myself. Plus, the front and rear bumpers have had a compete respray 1 month ago so they needed a detail to bring the body shop hack job up to my standard.
Two stage using a combination of various Chemical Guys and Lake Country pads, Menzerna Power Finish (PO85RD 3.02), Final Finish (PO 85RD) and Super Finish (PO 106 FA). Car was snow foamed, two bucket washed, clayed (although it didn't really need it) and finally wiped down with plenty of ~35% IPA.
Complete amateur but everyone has got to start somewhere.
Here's a vid of my progress so far. I haven't touched the wheels at all yet. I still have a few layers of wax to apply as well as correcting swirls on the exterior glass/windows itself.
Video was literally taken straight after I rinsed and dried the car down after finishing the machine polishing. No wax/sealant.
Some in progress pics...
