Can bus is the cars system of checking if any bulbs are faulty, LEDs are very low drain and as the car checks the light it thinks its dead so you need to get bulbs that are compatible with the system
just buy some that are advertised as Error Free, they have an in build resistor that doesn't flag up an error.
No worrys my own fault for not reading it and a went with the cheapest ones in the uk instead of ordering from china have sent him a messge asking to cancel
I ordered a very similar pair of bulbs for the E70 which were advertised as error free. They went in and work no problem without any check control issues. Bear in mind when you first turn the lights on they will strobe for a second or so where the car sends pulses to detect whether the bulb is functional. With an ordinary incandescent bulb these aren't visible but LEDs are capable of switching on and off much faster, hence the flash.
