Ok guys while im waiting around for loads of parts to arrive Ive been toying with the idea of having a slight custom look to the interior. Ive always thought that having a few led's installed in the head lining would look quite nice and not in the usual places. My question revolves around wiring them up so nothing melts. I have little experience with electrical wiring in cars apart from the audio side of things.
I'll be making some custom surrounds for the lining for the led strips to sit into to make it look alittle oem but I want it on the main lighting circuit so they operate as per normal with the rest of the lighting with a possible kill switch if I feel like turning them off is there anything apart from pos + neg to look out for ? Do I need to fuse them if so what amps? There only LED so the draw will be minute. Some help would be nice as I wanna start prepping my old liner to see where they'd go to.
